The last few years have been difficult for many of us, but for some that stress has been heightened beyond what many of us can imagine. I’m grateful and humbled to have been asked to join the “Notice Violence” campaign, helping raise awareness and funds to tackle the issue of domestic violence. A home should be a sanctuary from the world around you. I can only imagine what it must be like to not feel secure in your own home. It’s crucial that we as a community offer help to the most vulnerable in our society. Raising awareness on the issue hopefully encourages people to act and speak up. It’s our duty to help survivors find their voice.
